Program Format
Two major annual awards are presented: one for best overall score and one for most improved. The Chairperson of the Risk Control Committee will announce the awards at the
summer President’s
Dinner. A
Certificate of
Acknowledgment will be given to the voting member of each winner at that time.
In addition to the permanent awards, a traveling trophy will be presented. The year’s “Highest Risk Control” award winner will keep the trophy for one year. If a company wins the award three times, it keeps the trophy permanently and another trophy will be purchased. A
Certificate of
Excellence is also awarded to each company that meets all of the risk control criteria.
The data used to determine winners is from the previous calendar/policy year. The 2007 awards consider the most current risk assessment score, and the most recent claims data. Each company must be a member of the captive for the entire previous policy year to be eligible.
